Updated my website with some info on what Katee's up to during her break (temporary or permanent? who knows?) from BSG. Here's the scoop, straight from the source*:
"Be careful What You Wish For". (lifetime MOW) Lead role Sara Jacobs Shooting now in Saskachawan, Canada
"Robot Chicken" (Adult Swim) Role of Wisp, College student, and Starbuck Voice over work already completed
"The Bionic Woman" (pilot NBC) Role of Sarah Starts shooting in Vancouver this month.
*That would be an exceptionally reliable source. ;-)

I've posted the interview I did with Katee on my website. Also updated the FAQ (including, finally, a clear picture of the tattoo on the back of her neck) and the Biography (her siblings have names!). Pictures to come later, as they're more work.
My website, that is.
Check it out.
I haven't checked all gazillion links yet but it works so far as I've tested it. Abuse it, flist! Tell me where it needs fixing!
It is, er, not dialup friendly. :-(
ETA: Fixed all the "up" links. I think.
I know, I know, I promised a website this weekend. Well, photo galleries are a real pain in the ass. I didn't especially like the way a lot of the publically available ones worked, so I've ended up writing a perl script* to generate them. Whee! Debugging perl is always fun.
Anyway, now that that's all done, I just have to generate them. Then do a couple of other pages and ... go live. Whee!
*Yeah, yeah, I know all the cool kids are using PHP and MySQL to do galleries. I'm ... lazy.
• I have officially lost 20 pounds. It's nice to be a loser. ;-)
• I, apparently, despite a Ph.D. in astronomy and years of math classes, cannot add properly. As a result, I am about to bounce my rent check, barring a miracle. *sigh*
• The web site will be up this weekend, by hook or by crook. Incomplete, mind you, but at least functioning.
Since I'm doing a web site, I'd kinda like to know: What web browsers are people using these days?

Does anyone know how to create a layer that sits at the very bottom of a page, regardless of how much content is on the page? I want to put a copyright notice and a contact link at the bottom of every page (I'm using a page template) but so far I haven't been very successful. :-(
• Question for the flist: Any questions y'all can think of that should be FAQs? I'm open to suggestions.
• Any favorite pictures of Katee/Kara you would be outraged weren't there? (Lyssie, I'm thinking of you...)
I'm in the middle of creating the photo pages (using Aperture and Dreamweaver). Once I get that done, I've got some text to write and then I'll put the basic site up, adding things as I go along. I've got to sort through videos and mp3s of interviews next.
...on an unrelated front: That msscribe shit over on JournalFen? Man, BSG fandom is soooooooooo very sane by comparison. So far. Yet.
